Why it works
The philosophy
"Most tech problems aren't complicated โ they just need someone who knows where to look."
I've spent 14 years solving software crashes, failed enterprise deployments, and infrastructure fires at organizations that couldn't afford to be down. Helping a neighbor with a slow laptop is the same instinct โ just a different scale.
Background
I'm a Senior Software & Systems Engineer based in the KC Northland. By day I manage the technology infrastructure for a large judicial organization โ databases, servers, enterprise software, and everything in between.
Before that I spent five years at Cerner as a Senior Software Engineer, solving the hardest class of software defects in healthcare IT. I've implemented systems, rescued failed deployments, and kept mission-critical infrastructure running for organizations that can't afford downtime.
Northland Neighborhood Nerd is how I bring that same problem-solving to my community โ without the enterprise price tag. Whether you need a one-time fix or ongoing support, I'd rather you understood what I did than just handed you a bill.
